Synthetic: for training only. Deep Hospitality. From: General Manager, Qamar Bay To: Head of Hotel Operations, Roya Hotel Management Cc: Director of Finance, Qamar Bay Date: Monday 3 November 2031, 08:42 Subject: Soft goods: urgent request for AED 1.8m before the December peak Dear colleague, Now that the first month is behind us, I need your support on soft goods. When we took over from Halcyon on 1 October, the linen par was already below two. A good share of the bed linen and towels is greyed and frayed, and many guestroom curtains are sun-damaged on the sea-facing side. Four of last week's guest reviews mention tired towels or curtains that do not black out. I would like to replace soft goods across all 150 keys before the December and New Year peak. The supplier has quoted as follows (excluding VAT): Bed linen (sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, par of three) AED 780,000 Towels and bathrobes (par of three) AED 520,000 Guestroom curtains and blackout linings (sea-facing rooms) AED 500,000 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Total AED 1,800,000 The supplier can deliver in five weeks if we place the order by 14 November. Could you please approve so that I can release the order this week? I suggest we pay it from the FF&E reserve. Many thanks, General Manager Qamar Bay, Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah Roya Hotel Management Synthetic: for training only. Deep Hospitality.
